On the Mid-Autumn Festival, the moon is bright. People would sacrifice to the moon. Offering to the moon is a very ancient custom in our country. In fact, it is a kind of worship for the "moon god" of the ancients. Since ancient times, in parts of Guangdong, people have worshiped the moon god in the evening of the Mid-Autumn Festival. Moon cakes, pomelos, apples, dates, plums, grapes and other offerings are placed on the big incense table. Under the moon, the tablet of "moon God" is placed in the direction of the moon, with red candles burning high, and the whole family worship the moon in turn, praying for happiness. In addition, playing lanterns is also a form of Mid-Autumn festival custom. The Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the three lantern festivals in China. Although the Mid-Autumn Festival does not have a large Lantern Festival like the Lantern Festival, playing lanterns is still one of the important activities. The lively atmosphere makes everyone very happy. Mid-Autumn Festival lanterns are mainly played between families and children.
